Count me among them. If only because Linux distributions tend to be
lazy and will make perl a package dependency for nmh, which it doesn't
need to be unless you plan to make use of the script. That in turn
makes building a minimal distribution tricky. Fedora is the prime
offender here, but the Debian/Ubuntu world is almost as bad at times.
I'd rather not have a perl dependency in nmh.
