I get this for one example:
[ part 2 - application/pdf - Statement.pdf 4.4KB (suppressed) ]
But then, I'm using nmh 1.6 :-)

I'd block them all simply, just to avoid waiting for interpreters.
And this works:
mhstore -nov -part 2 -o - | pdfinfo -
