Follow-up Comment #21, bug #29057 (project octave):

I read Rik's email (which I dont' see on the tracker), and took a quick look
at Matlab.

The Matlab solution sets the marker size for the line object, and the marker
size is the default for a line object, and Matlab sets the "markertype" for
the error bars to "none".

I think Octave is doing this part correctly. However, it is also adding
markers to the error bars ... which Matlab does not have.
