Follow-up Comment #2, bug #30341 (project octave):
Yes, we could install the tests for compiled (both dynamically loaded and
built-in) functions somewhere and arrange for the test function to find the
installed tests.
Or, we could at least fix the test function to look and see if the named
function is a built-in or dld function and give a better message, maybe
????? chol: source code with tests for dynamically linked function not
found
