URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30715> Summary: imread fails to read unit16 tif image Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Mon 09 Aug 2010 02:54:50 PM UTC Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Paolo Prosperi Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.2.4 Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: I'm newbie to Octave and not a programmer. I noticed that the imread function seems unable to correctly read the data type (int16) of the hereby attached tif image. Instead, it reads pixel values as unit8. Can anybody confirm this circumstance and provide a solution to that? _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon 09 Aug 2010 02:54:50 PM UTC Name: subset.tif Size: 73kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=21178> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30715> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
