Follow-up Comment #4, bug #30685 (project octave):

Removing gnulib:: from those 3 lines, at least for me, results in the same
issues.  BTW> I'm running on Mac OS X 10.5.8 i386 Core2Duo, XCode 3.1.3 (Apple
gcc 4.0 & MacPorts f95); my install of Octave 3.3.52 is via MacPorts -- I
wrote the Portfile and after much testing committed it as is since it seems to
work for some users running 10.6.4.  I'll be testing on 10.6.4 soon, once I
get a dual-boot partition installed.
