Follow-up Comment #8, bug #31352 (project octave): Overall it looks like a solid improvement over the current implementations. The two subfunctions bc and sym_sub2ind at the end of interp2 are no longer used and should be removed. Regarding the changed orientation in two of the tests I suggest you check that again.
