Follow-up Comment #1, bug #31684 (project octave): Sorry I cannot reproduce the phenomena. I am also using windows XP SP3 Home (Home) and Professional (University). Plotting works without problem without any pause commands. Therefore I cannot give you a definite answer to your issue. Please press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to execute the windows task manager at gnuplot freezing. Click "Process" tab and see how octave and gnuplot use CPU and Memory.
