Follow-up Comment #6, bug #31468 (project octave):
gnuplot's text and axis labels allow an "offset" parameter to be set that (I
expect) makes implementing compliant multi-line text objects rather
convenient.
I've been meaning to take a look, but have been waiting for the text objects
to be modified to accept a cell of strings.
octave:26> text (0.5, 0.5, {"hello","world"})
error: text: dimension mismatch for coordinates and LABEL
Philip, when you wrote "David's suggestion works OK in 3.3.90 (& 3.3.54+) &
gnuplot", what is the suggestion you refer to?
