Follow-up Comment #2, bug #32628 (project octave):
Alexander Mamonov emailed me with the response below.
There is an example of such usage at:
http://www.mathworks.com/help/techdoc/ref/colorbar.html
(see the last example).
I think the reason it works in Matlab is because it is a particular
case of the syntax
colorbar(...,'PropertyName',propertyvalue)
What needs to be done is to add the property-name / property-value syntax
below.
colorbar (...,'PropertyName',propertyvalue)
My spare time is rather short now. If anyone is interested in working on a
patch, please do.
