Details:

(Reported on octave-forge by brett.t.stewart at exxonmobil.com):
<QUOTE>
Both textscan() and textread() allow the specification of headerlines like
this:

textscan(fid,'%s','headerlines',N)

in which N is the number of lines to skip. However, with the current
version, if you try to specify N, it always uses N = 2.
</QUOTE>

I (Philip) have already fixed this (same bug in both functions); hopefully
later tonight (after I have cloned a fresh tip) or this weekend I'll submit
patches or a changeset.
