Follow-up Comment #1, bug #33519 (project octave):
In this and your other bug report you say "crash" alarmingly often. A crash is
often understood to mean that the program receives a signal from the operating
system, such as segmentation fault (SIGSEGV) or illegal instruction (SIGILL)
and abruptly terminates, usually indicating what signal it received.
Is this indeed the behaviour you're observing? Not just error messages
generated by Octave, not by the operating system? Because if you really are
seeing this many crashes and not error messages, something is very wrong with
your Octave installation and you possibly have a corrupt binary.
