Thanks for the patch. I checked it in on the stable branch:

The default branch has diverged here, but still had the problem, so I checked
in a separate changeset for that:

We no longer maintain ChangeLogs by hand. ChangeLog information should now go
in the commit message. Take a look at other changesets to see the preferred
format. Are you using the sources from the Mercurial archive? If so, it
would be helpful if you would prepare changesets instead of sending simple
diffs.
