Follow-up Comment #1, bug #34374 (project octave):
This is an already known issue for octave for windows. I have tried a fix this
problem in my local patch for octave-3.4.2 (Experimental).

1.2. Octave-3.4.2-mingw + octaveforge pkgs
Note that Octave-3.4.2 does not have automated installer.
