Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed on a recent development tip from 20111001. This is very similar to
bug #32482 where the xlabels were squashed if the xaxislocation was set to
"top". I'm adding the coder who solved the previous issue to the CC list for
this bug. Perhaps they will have ideas on this.
