Follow-up Comment #10, bug #34661 (project octave): Summarizing the discussion: 1) Add @xcode macro to the beginning of octave.texi Macro can expand to either @iftex/@ifnottex or @verb. The primary disadvantage of the former, its length and clutter, is removed by using the @xcode macro.
