Update of bug #33321 (project octave):

Summary: print() doesn't work with figure("visible", "off")
and fltk => print() produces not output with figure("visible", "off") and fltk

Follow-up Comment #6:

This is the whole offscreen plotting with OpenGL problem. I have investigated
it a few times, and I'm still not clear if it's possible to solve it or not. I
think it ultimately depends on the OpenGL implementation. The way to do it is
with framebuffer objects, but they may not work if your OpenGL implementation
depends on X (e.g. as libmesa does).
