Follow-up Comment #10, bug #35292 (project octave): I have attached a fix for this problem. The problem was that if you tried to zoom in using the right mouse button, but did not drag the mouse , then the zoom factor would be infinite and cause a crash. I have set the smallest zoom box to be 4X4 pixels whis gives a nice maximum zoom and stops very large unintentional zooms.
