Follow-up Comment #1, bug #35401 (project octave):
Octave 3.6.0 was just released. Could you verify that the problem still
exists on the most recent version of Octave? Instructions for Windows
platforms are here

Incidentally, the bug is not reproducible on a Linux platform so this may be
specific to Windows.
