Follow-up Comment #9, bug #35761 (project octave): I'm adding Ben to the bug list. I swear that we addressed some similar issue with %g not producing the correct output and we made a similar change. If that could be confirmed then I think this is the way to go. Also, in the ancient changelogs there was some confusion about wether %g or %e should be used. +2007-09-21 John W.
