Follow-up Comment #2, bug #36255 (project octave):
Looking at octave.ps indicates that gnuplot
is used for most if not all plots in the Manual.
Is it time to switch this to FLTK? We
are encouraging users to move to FLTK, so
why not join them?
And, should both be supported? It seems
to me that requiring FLTK for documentation
build would be OK. But, build of documentation
should be turned off if FLTK is not present
rather than crashing (same for gnuplot).
