Try running 'make check' and you will now see 49 failures coming from
test_func.m. It seems that the test function (%!function) is somehow being
cleared and so all further %!test blocks which use the function fail. Note
that the script file test.m evals test functions into existence and clears
them once the testing is done. There may be a debugging clue in that idea.
