Follow-up Comment #5, bug #36866 (project octave):
Unfortunately all I got out of it at the time was the generic Windows "Octave
has encountered an error and needs to close" message. It was very reproducible
on the machine I was working on (which I am now 800 miles away from), but I
have not been able to reproduce it on a Linux machine. I will try it on my
Windows box at home if you are interested, though.
