Follow-up Comment #6, bug #35769 (project octave):

I also experienced trouble with the preinstalled libblas.dll not being
compatible with my hardware, and experienced crashes. I realize the default
version (libblas.dll.OpenBLAS-v0.1.0-0-09f74f6_dynamicarch in my install) is
supposed to do some autodetection, but it fails to detect the appropriate
instruction set for my hardware (AMD E-350 APU).

While I was able to figure out what to do, I imagine most people who just try
out octave and run into this problem will just give up, since the solution
isn't obvious. So, I'd like to help fix this problem, if possible! Is there
any information I can submit that would help someone else find the problem?
Or alternatively, if you have any pointers as to how I can begin to contribute
to fixing this problem with autodetection myself, I'd be glad to look into it.
