              Item Group:         Feature Request => Matlab Compatibility   
                 Summary: set(HANDLE, 'property') not compatible with Matlab

Follow-up Comment #3:

Re-titling report to clearer.  Changing Item Group to Matlab Compatibility.

As of 9/27/2012 the development version does have Matlab compatible behavior
for the code in comment #2.

p = get ([gca, gcf])
p = get ([gcf, gcf], 'papersize')

The outstanding issue is still the first reported problem.
