Follow-up Comment #2, bug #37636 (project octave):

Mike, your solution worked flawlessly today, with those two files. Then I
tried to plot with mesh for 3D it and worked too. Thank you very much.

Both cases, 2D and 3D plot, was very, VERY quicker than with gnuplot. And both
cases, did not consume 10% of the RAM gnuplot consumed. There is something
really strange with gnuplot....

Is there a way to turn fltk plotting default, without using "graphics_toolkit
fltk" command every time I start octave? 

Documentation about plotting with fltk in octave is very few, but I've found a
limitation with fltk compared to gnuplot:
"Caution: The FLTK toolkit uses single precision variables internally which
limits the maximum value that can be displayed to approximately 10^38. If your
data contains larger values you must use the gnuplot toolkit which supports
values up to 10^308."

Is there any other limitation I must know?
