- First of all, check if your download was OK, check the md5sums
- If they're OK and Octave crashes before you even had a chance to enter any
input, please search the help mailing list archives for similar reports. IIRC
this has popped up before.
(to Jordi: to me this doesn't look like a libblas issue; those usually pop up
once some number crunching begins, i.e. when calls are made to functions
inside libblas.dll. AFAIK even with misdetected & mismatched CPU type (by
libblas) Octave usually gets to the point that a prompt is shown and user
input is accepted)
