Follow-up Comment #8, bug #37928 (project octave):
See the following GUI command window session:
octave:1> getenv ("LANG")
ans = fr_FR.UTF-8
octave:2> getenv ("LC_ALL")
ans = fr_FR.UTF-8
Shouldn't the second command return en_US? Or does "setlocale" only change the
locale settings for qt stuff?
