Update of bug #37961 (project octave): Status: Confirmed => Patch Submitted _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #8: I've attached a changeset (somewhere between ugly and clumsy). All tests for strread() pass. A test needs to be added to capture the problem reported here. I've also attached a script that tests for the reported problem, when strread() is used instead of textscan(). There remains a problem with textscan.
