Follow-up Comment #24, bug #38280 (project octave): I'll go ahead and summarize what the situation is as I currently know it: 1) The issue occurs for _any_ OS X from 10.5-10.8. 2) It occurs for every of graphicsmagick and imagemagick version that I've tried. 3) Attempting to get the "TileName" and "View" parameters __magic_finfo__() (DLD_FUNCTIONS/__magick_read__.cc) leads to malloc() errors. 3A) On 64-bit (x86_64) builds Octave panics. 3B) On other builds it is able to recover. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?38280> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
