Update of bug #38418 (project octave):
Status: None => Works For Me

Follow-up Comment #1:
The documentation was cleaned up to try and eliminate warnings under Texinfo
5.0 (see bug #38392).
This might, unfortunately, have to do less with Octave and more with the
specific versions of Texinfo and makeinfo that you are using.
I am using 4.13a.dfsg.1-5ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit on x86_64 and it works
properly.
You might also try 'make maintainer-clean; ./bootstrap; ./configure; make' to
really clean everything out of your build and start from scratch.
