Follow-up Comment #1:

This isn't an Octave bug. The problem is that SF lists whatever file we
uploaded last as "the latest version". Since we have multiple uploads for
multiple "projects", it ends up listing those as "the latest file".

This really is a SF bug. You should report it to them, so that they stop
listing our uploads as "the latest version".
