Details:

I was trying to run the following matlab script:

http://www.mathworks.de/matlabcentral/fileexchange/35355-stability-chart

(The script needs to be unpacked, after that just enter "StabilityChart;" in
octave)

The problem is that the execution using octave takes a very long time; it is
slower than matlab by a factor of at least 100.
The profiling shows that the lion share of the execution time is being spent
in the __go_line__ function.

The execution time decreased to something comparable to matlab once I removed
all of the plot commands from the script.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this problem :)
