The error you are seeing:


error: `is_real_vector' undefined near line 38 column 15


means that you have not installed the signal package properly. The signal
package depends on the control package, which provides the function in
question. Please refer to the help mailing list or the wiki if you need help
with how to install Octave and Octave Forge packages properly:
