Update of bug #39155 (project octave):

Follow-up Comment #1:

It would help if you could provide a data set or a series of commands that
someone can run in Octave to reproduce the bug you are seeing. For example, I
cannot reproduce this by generating a randn vector and passing it to boxplot.

Also relabeling this bug since you are not claiming that Octave crashes, just
that the boxplot function returns an error.
