My GSoC student has a big project to use UIXXX commands and mouse and keyboard  inputs.

Since the uiXXX commands and ginput are outside the scope of the project, we are relying on the Octave team to get there functions working properly so that we can use them.

I don't know if this issue will affect us or not.
