Ben,

Sorry to tell you that changeset 16832:e528beb2d774
has a negative side effect.

The attached plot shows the problem. The first subplot
in the second row is too high.  This happened with the
current tip.  I did a hg rollbak 16832:e528beb2d774
and the problem went away.

Do you need more information than this?  The plot depends
on quite a lot of data, but if needed I could make up a simpler
test, I hope.

Anyhow, you have made lots of improvements to the plotting,
so I do hate to complain...
