Follow-up Comment #13, bug #39305 (project octave): When the clipboard is empty, the paste action is disabled and C-v is used by readline. With a non empty clipboard, the paste action is enabled and C-v works as paste shortcut (I don't know why this does not work 100% of time for John). C-c works copies text and raises SIGINT with no text selected.
