Follow-up Comment #5, bug #34778 (project octave):
The Matlab documentation doesn't have a 3-argument form with the "rows" or
"cols" options. AFAICT those are an Octave extension so there's no problem
with compatibility there. All I did was come up with rules that made sense to
prevent things like norm(x,"cols","rows").
