Follow-up Comment #20, bug #30715 (project octave):

Testing with a set of tiff, gif and lsm pcitures I had from work, I have found
that the depth () method returns the original image bitdepth. I have changed
imread () to use it instead of moduloDepth (). Can this bug be closed? There
was also the issue of trying to make the warning about being limited to
specific bit depth bigger.
