URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?39896> Summary: building development snapshot fails without flex Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mtmiller Submitted on: Fri 30 Aug 2013 12:27:24 AM EDT Category: Configuration and Build System Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Build Failure Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: As of fe6518a1d87c, building Octave from a tar snapshot without flex availble fails. The source distribution has been able to be built without flex and bison. This change introduced a dependency on the Makefile that causes the oct-tex-lexer.ll to be regenerated, which in turn requires flex to be run at build time. http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/fe6518a1d87c http://hydra.nixos.org/build/5784406/log/raw _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?39896> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
