Follow-up Comment #2, bug #39913 (project octave):

Here is the output of "gm version -verbose" which seems to suggest that
JPEG-2000 is supported.  I am using the latest long-term release of Kubuntu
(12.04) which is mainstream and something Octave should support.

The problem is with 4 enumerated constants.  I wonder if we have to check all
4 or whether we can check just one as an indication for the group.
