Follow-up Comment #4, bug #38397 (project octave):

The problem solved by my patch currently occurs in Octave development version
only.

Octave 3.6.4 + dataframe 0.9.1 is ok.

But the dataframe package will break as soon as Octave 3.8 is out, and the
probleme exists both in 0.9.1 and in the latest hg revision of the package.

The reason is that regexp doesn't support the special character b anymore.
