Follow-up Comment #8, bug #40283 (project octave):

OK Torsten,

works fine for me in Windows and Linux.

But in Linux (Mageia 2, KDE, Air theme), either 
- clicking the button to the left of the close button (doesn't match my
desktop theme, so I wouldn't know what is stands for), or
- double-clicking the title bar,

docks/undocks the pane; double-clicking the main menu bar of a pane does
nothing.

I'd say just push as it is better than it used to be; ironing out the rest can
be done in 3.8.1 or 3.8.2 or whatever.
