Rik,

Since your have spent considerable time on the FLTK
redraw problem is it possible to resolve the "jumping"
behavior as described in this report for the 3.8 release?
(The jumping still happens in the latest dev version.)

If you have several plots open it is quite distracting
to have the plots within each window "jump" every time
the cursor passes over them.

I know that this is essentially "cosmetic."  But, it seems
to me that it gives a bad impression and will cause
users to reasonably complain.

If this is really hard to fix, just let it go...
