URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40395> Summary: new octave main wrapper should check for existence of octave-gui before execing Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mtmiller Submitted on: Mon 28 Oct 2013 08:56:43 AM EDT Category: Configuration and Build System Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Result Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: The new octave executable that wraps octave-cli and octave-gui does not check for existence of the octave-gui program before trying to exec it. Building Octave without Qt results in $ ./run-octave octave: failed to exec '/path/to/octave/src/octave-gui' Presumably the same error after installing as well. Also fails to build documentation in the build tree as seen here: http://hydra.nixos.org/build/6694819/log/tail-reload _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40395> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
