Follow-up Comment #1, bug #40505 (project octave): I checked in the following changeset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/7d9a4eef8022 This backs out Dan's change to shift the text up to the top of the window. So now if there is room for a partial line, the gap will be at the bottom instead of the top.
