Follow-up Comment #18, bug #40304 (project octave):
In regards to comment #7, I was suggesting doing something like this
clear
load Extended_Molecule
save newfile
quit
# start Octave again with strace or whatever profiling tool
load newfile
and see if you see the same performance results with this file created by
Octave from the same variables.
