Update of bug #40600 (project octave): Item Group: None => Incorrect Result Status: None => Patch Submitted _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: Attaching my old patch for this, does this meet the needs? From the user's point of view it will look like changing EDITOR also changes the setting saved inside the edit function, until "edit editor foo" is invoked, after that point the two are configured independently.
