Details:

If I maximize the Octave GUI it normally remembers that state and comes back
up maximized as before. However, after some number of exits and restarts the
GUI sometimes decides that it should no longer be maximized.

I've attached the qt-settings for when the GUI is maximized and when it
modifies that setting to be unmaximized.

I'm using GNOME 3 on a 1366x768 display on this particular system if that
makes a difference.
